Basic language is Lithuanian. Also a lot of people speaks Russian and English. Last mentioned is mostly usable between young people. However, here you can meet German, Polish, French speaking people.

English is commonly spoken in most restaurants and shops in the center of Vilnius and especially in Old Town. English menus are common in restaurants.
